Femap API Femap API is a very powerful tool. It allows for automating of simple or complex tasks inside femap. It also allows for interoperability with other applications such as excel. A brief example code is provided here. The code gets the active group, identifies all the surfaces in the group, removes all nodes and elements and the puts back just the nodes and elements that are on the surfaces in the group.
